Day 1 – Ziwa Rhino Tracking & Murchison Falls

Our 3-day Murchison Falls & Rhino Safari begins with an exciting visit to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, home to Uganda’s southern white rhinos. Accompanied by an experienced ranger, enjoy a guided rhino-tracking walk on foot and observe these magnificent animals in their natural surroundings.

After your rhino-tracking experience, continue north towards Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest national park, famous for its diverse wildlife, sweeping savannah landscapes and the mighty River Nile. Enjoy the scenic journey before checking in at your selected accommodation. The day’s schedule and arrival time depend on your starting point, road conditions and the arrangements confirmed in your safari itinerary.

Day 2 – Game Drive & Nile Boat Cruise

Your 3-day Murchison Falls & Rhino Safari continues with an exciting wildlife adventure in Murchison Falls National Park. Begin with a game drive across the park’s northern savannah plains, where you may encounter African elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes and, with some luck, lions and other predators. Your experienced safari guide will help you spot wildlife and learn about the park’s diverse ecosystems. Later, enjoy a scenic boat cruise along the Victoria Nile towards the base of the spectacular Murchison Falls. Watch for hippos resting in the water, Nile crocodiles along the riverbanks and colourful waterbirds gathered near the shoreline. The cruise offers excellent opportunities for wildlife photography and birdwatching while revealing a different perspective of the park’s natural beauty.

After these memorable experiences, return to your lodge to relax and enjoy the evening. The timing and order of activities will depend on park schedules and the arrangements confirmed in your safari itinerary.

Day 3 – Morning Game Drive & Return to Entebbe

3-Day Murchison Falls & Rhino Safari concludes with an optional early-morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park, offering another opportunity to spot wildlife across the northern savannah. Depending on the time available, your onward travel arrangements and personal schedule, you may enjoy a final wildlife viewing experience before departing for Entebbe. After the game drive, begin the return journey to Entebbe or your agreed drop-off point. The morning activities and departure time will be arranged according to your flight schedule, available time and travel preferences.
